OSF
Office of School Facilities (OSF) in South Carolina is the building official or authority having jurisdiction all school construction grades K-12. Our goal is to be part of a team and to work with everyone including OSF, the school district, and the design team. We believe our experience allows us to help ensure the safeguards put in place by OSF's construction guidelines as well, to conduct the inspections required by the International Code Council and the project specifications. We specialize in chapter 1 inspections and partner with multiple Chapter 17 firms. Our team of code enforcement officers has been a part of over 300 school projects.
OSE
Office of the State Engineer (OSE) is the building official for all state buildings other than schools grades K-12. The office is headed by the State Engineer who also serves as the Chief Procurement officer for construction. The team at CC&I has been a part of over 150 state projects. Our inspectors have also worked with Universities such as Clemson University, University of South Carolina, Winthrop University, Francis Marion University and more. Our code enforcement officers have also conducted inspections for the state budget and control board, SC Department of Transportation, SC Department of Mental Health, SC State Park Services and more.
